ZomTalks is a series of lectures that feature individuals of diverse backgrounds and disciplines who share, in 15 – 20 minutes, insight and knowledge from their area of expertise with our community. Since 2016, ZomTalks aims to discuss ideas that inspire, inform and empower. It started as a project led by a group of university students who are part of the Zavarian Student Association.

As part of its 115-anniversary events, the ARF Zavarian Student Association presents: “ZOMTalks: Space – Exploring Different Perspectives”, a full-day ZOMTalks event dedicated to shedding some light on the different understandings of the term ‘space’ and critically evaluating our various topics impacted by our perception of ‘space’.

How do we define ‘space’? How much are we aware of our surroundings? How much do we know what is going on within our ‘space’? Are we inspired by our ‘space’? Don’t be fooled by your own understanding of the term ‘space’. We plan to engulf your reality with tons of new knowledge… and then let you think critically.

Date: Saturday, 22nd of June, 2019
Registration starts at 11:30 a.m.
Door close at 12:00 p.m.
Location: Antwork, Hamra, Beirut.

The talk is open to everyone. Free entrance.

Note that the talks will be in the English language.

Stay tuned to know more about the Speakers and their topics!
