“What If It Was Me” is a cultural event aimed to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide through art and music. It is also intended to shed light on, and support, other displaced people and refugees residing in Lebanon.
The event is composed of three main segments:
A- LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES
Date: Sunday May 7, 2017
Time: 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm
The Vendome Stairs will be hosting live musical performances of different genres.
The performing bands are:

~ Kalaam and Fly B
~ Armenian Cultural Performances
~ Other Surprise Guests
B- ART EXHIBITION
Opening Ceremony: Sunday May 7 at 5:00 pm
Venue: Armenian Evangelical Central High School Campus – at the very top of the Vendome Stairs
The Exhibition is a collage of photos, paintings, sculptures, embroidery, and art installations telling the story of survivors of the genocide, and displaying the remnants of a displayed people.

C- DONATIONS FOR REFUGEES
The event will also feature a donations section. Attendees and by-passers are welcomed to donate food and clothes. These donations will be distributed to Syrian, Palestinian, and Iraqi refugee families, through FoodBlessed and other local NGOs.
“What If It Was Me” is in fact a day of solidarity of one people to another; of one human being to another.
