“Out of Childhood” is an awareness event commemorating the 104th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide through music, art, and interactive exhibitions.
From lack of access to education, to protection from harm, to access to health care and basic sanitation, millions of children around the world are being held back by a variety of barriers that prevent them from realizing their full potential.
Location: Vendome Stairs, Mar Mikhayel, Beirut

Time: 5:00 to 10:30 pm
The event will include:
A- LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES (starting 6:00 pm)
The bands performing are:
Tanjaret Daghet
Sandmoon
Blue Cheese
Ovid
Carmen & friends
B- EXHIBITION
The exhibition encompasses a collection of art installations, informative content and digital media depicting the different forms of violations to children’s rights.
True stories will be shared of children whose rights have been threatened due to the conflict in Syria, DRC, Yemen, Palestine, South Sudan, Somalia and Armenia.
Ahmad, a live performer will have a corner dedicated on the stairs for a special tribute to the cause.
C- DOLLS FOR A CAUSE
A section of the steps will be dedicated to an activity under the title “Dolls for a cause” where attendees will have the chance to design their own dolls, which they can later use as keychains.
The funds raised from the dolls will be donated to a charity that will be revealed on the day of the event.
D- FOOD COURT
Delicious Armenian food will be provided by Patil Balabanian’s homemade food.
